Send Us Your Gen 3 (24x) Wiring Harness
If you have a used OEM wiring harness that is in good condition (i.e. that came with the purchase of a used LSx engine), and you are content with the overall layout of the wiring harness, we can rework this wiring harness for standalone use in a custom vehicle application. The cost of reworking your used wiring harness is generally about half of the cost of purchasing a new wiring harness.
Please contact us by email BEFORE shipping your wiring harness (and computer) to be reworked. We will confirm that your wiring harness is not damaged, its platform origin, your intended purpose for the wiring harness, and the compatibility of all components.
After we receive your wiring harness (and computer), it will be inspected for damage and cleaned. If there is any significant damage, we will advise you via email - as this damage may incur additional costs. You will also be emailed an approximate completion time frame.
- thoroughly clean and inspect the wiring harness
- remove unnecessary connectors and wires
- install new split loom wire coverings
- install a Fuse Block and Fuel Pump Relay
- install a DLC (OBD-II) Port
- add PCM output wires for electric cooling fans (additional PCM programming required)
- label component connectors
- label PCM output wires
You may also include your PCM (computer) in the box that you send us with your wiring harness, if you would like us to program this for you. You may choose from two programming options (at an additional cost).
VATS Only - disable the Vehicle Anti Theft System (VATS). No other changes are made. This will allow you to start the engine in your project vehicle, in a standalone application.
COMPLETE - this option includes disabling VATS, and configuring your components. We will also adjust the gear ratio, tire size, transmission shift points, speedometer output, tachometer output, DTCs, electric cooling fan(s), and disable unnecessary components - plus anything else that you require.
